What are your plans after graduation?

I plan to graduate from Northern High School and attend Garrett College for two years to earn my associate's degree in education.  I plan to transfer to a university to obtain a bachelor's degree.

What is your favorite dance memory?

Dance has occupied a large portion of my life and narrowing it down to just one memory is tricky.  Some of my favorite memories are the trips I've taken with Boundless Energy, Disneyland, Disney World, and Nashville. Performing at the Grand Ole Opry was incredible, and getting demolished by the massive wave at Typhoon Lagoon will always make me laugh.  Boundless Energy boot camps will always hold a special place in my heart,  including training, drills, games, and bonding.  My final most cherished memory would be waiting with my fellow dancers backstage or on the sideline, waiting and hyping each other up and bonding in our encouragement huddle.

What advice do you want to share with other dancers?

Please do not take your time for granted; it goes by quickly. Make the most of each class, even the ones less fun, I promise these will be some of your most cherished memories. Take every opportunity you can to dance and perform. The friends you will make at dance may very well be lifelong friends. There is no bond quite like a dance sister.  Wherever life takes you be kind and "point your toes"!

Who would you like to thank for your dance experiences?

I want to thank anyone who has supported my dance career, especially my friends, for sharing many of my best childhood memories.  My instructors, Lexi, for mentoring me to be an instructor assistant, I will forever hear you say 5.6.7.8!  I want to thank Keele, Ainsley and Ari for being so kind to me and for choreographing outstanding routines. Alissa has pushed me and shown me that I can be capable of more than I thought possible.  All my instructors have been positive influences and great role models.   Thank you, Brenda, for creating a place where I always felt at home and was treated with much love, kindness and encouragement.  BBS is where I learned to dance, make friends and express myself creatively.  My final thanks go to my parents for their unending support and investment in my dance journey.  All the practices, travel, and performances they have driven me to.  The dance experiences you gave me will forever be appreciated and help shape the person I have become creatively and physically.
