Krista Rinker

Krista Rinker has been a student at BBS for 14 years.  Her class of choice is baton.  Krista is a dedicated student who has been our baton program’s anchor.  She was the youngest in the class, and now she is the most experienced leader in the class.  Krista is a no-nonsense student and pays attention to every detail at practice. We can always count on her to recall a combination from the week before.  Krista is the youngest in her family and follows two older sisters who also danced at BBS. The Rinker family’s time at BBS spans 26 years; quite impressive and fun to be a small part of one of their family’s activities.

Krista plans to attend Garrett College before transferring to WVU to pursue a master’s degree in speech and language pathology.

Krista’s thoughts:

“Follow your dreams and never give up.  Have confidence in yourself and dance your heart out.  The memories you make at BBS will last a lifetime.”

“I would like to thank my mom for taking me to practice every week, allowing me to do what I love, and always supporting me.  I want to thank my dad for never missing a recital or special event.  To my sisters, thank you for always being there and encouraging me.  Millie, thank you for being the best dance partner throughout our years at BBS and always sticking by my side.  Brenda, thank you for pushing me to do my best and never giving up on me.  I am thankful for everything you have taught me over the years.”
